Dear Sir,

I would like to reserve one (1) ticket to Sal's 2005 Christmas Poem. Please advise me as to the cost of said ticket.

Sincerely,

Hey Ang:

The cost? A bag of Conguitos and a jug of your grandpa's corn whiskey.

The Conguitos are negotiable.

Sal

I have NO idea what Conguitos are (probably because I haven't been paying attemtion) but I'd like a seat next to the fire escape, please.

(P.S. LOVED your last Expatica article, Sal! Too funny and something I'd never heard of before.)

Hey Christina: Yeah, you've gotta love caganers. They were my favorite part of Christmas during the three years I lived in Barcelona. Really...I couldn't make up something that good.

Anyway...the poem was written last week, but I will publish it in Expatica next Wednesday/Thursday. Then, I'll post it here.

We see how you are, Sal. Your almighty Expatica is more important than your loyal readers.

Just for that, I have half a mind to remove my kitschy Nativity that I just posted on my blog... nah, who am I kidding, no one else would publish that!

(Yes, I just plugged my blog on yours. Now I owe you TWO bags of Conguitos! Oh, and Grandpa doesn't make corn whiskey anymore -- it's jug wine. Tastes kind of like Mogen David... with a bit more bite.)
