THE PATXARÁN ALSO RISES.
My scholarly dissertation on the Spanish liquor “Patxarán” is now published in The Spirit World.

Why the 40cm deep horn wound in your buttocks? Do they drink that stuff (in copious amounts) just before bull fighting? Just curious. Otherwise it sounds delish!
Hey C-Swiss:
Well...
- Patxaran is a liquor from Navarra.
- Navarra is a region in Spain.
- Pamplona is in Navarra.
- Pamplona has the running of the bulls festival each year.
- People who run with the bulls are often drunk out of their minds; as well they should be.
- Patxaran makes you drunk.
- Bulls have horns.
- Bulls horns often reach 40 cm or more in length.
- The gluteous maximus is the largest muscle in the human body.
- Large muscles make for irresistible targets if you're a very large, very pissed-off bull.
So...drink Patxaran...get drunk...run with bulls...get gored in the ass...sober up...walk with limp...get bitched out by your mother. Now, THAT'S a hangover.
Hey, do I look like National Geographics, or what? ;-) But I was pretty good. Who'd want to do something like that without being totally pissed, anyway!
I love the stuff - it's my favorite tipple. No scars on the buttocks yet!
I make my own every year. Pick the sloes in a little village in Soria in October. True, the colour is beautiful, although Zoco is pretty shitty, try Baines or I'll take you a flask of my homemade stuff when you sit for my dog, hahaha.
