I know I'm supposed to say stuff about the unbearable cuteness, how sweet a sleeping child, what a charming dad...all those things are certainly true and other, more diplopatic folks have already set the tone.

But I can't help myself, I'm only human. I have to say this: THAT CAT IS HUGE.

I was just going to say that! That is a Big. Fat. Cat. I love it! How cool that the cutest kid ever can use her as a big big teddy bear! Now, if only I could sleep that well with my kitty under my arm. . . Oh well. A girl can dream. . . there are other dreams in the closet, but this is one of them!

That girl is sure going to be a beauty when she grows up.
And the cat is unbelievably huge.

Oh, folks. Unbelievably huge? Y'all haven't met my Roman fat cat Pavel, aka Pavel Cow. See, it's just that they're "husky." Shall we say, "big boned." And it clearly is a much fluffier pillow for Sal's little girl, making it all the more useful and lovely. (Sorry Sal, just felt the need to defend your feline friend there.)

Awww, so sweet. But she's cuddling a cat. Is that because you hid all the coconuts?

Hey everyone:

Thanks. No convincing needed as to whether my little girl is a cutie.

However...if I've learned one thing from the VTB Chat Lounge tonight, it's that my cat (aka, "The Love Machine") needs an entire post devoted to him sometime in the coming week. Believe me, he's quite a character.

And no, he's not fat at all. The photo was taken at a bad angle and he was laying on his size. But he is, nonetheless, a very big cat. He's more or less the feline equivalent of Lou Ferrigno. A big, strong, muscle-bound boy.

No jewels, however. Those got snipped before I brought him home nine years ago. Just in case anyone is keeping score.

There's nothing nicer for a little girl than to fall asleep with a live and purring, soft and furry friend.

This big girl still loves it! :)

Damn, the Allergy Gods have cheated me out of being able to fall asleep cuddling a giant cat so I'll just have to live vicariously.

Eager to learn more about "The Love Machine". :-)
