SAL'S NOT DEAD!
He's just insanely busy!
- Housework.
- Childcare.
- Preparations for Christmas.
- Quick business trip to Germany the other day.
- Christmas party at Acme Low Carb Tongue Depressor, Inc.'s Madrid office tomorrow.
- Flying over to Amsterdam to hang with an old friend this coming weekend.
- Yadda-Yoda-Yaaaaah!!!
I still owe you a post about "The Love Machine." I haven't forgotten. I'm just waiting for the right mix of time, energy, caffeine and guilt to power me through it.
Well...at the very least, I should have something interesting to post about Amsterdam when I return Sunday night. If not, then I'll make something up.
Gotta run, now. The llamas need to be fed and brushed.
COCONUT!

Dearest Sal,
Please behave in Amsterdam. Try not to repeat what you did there on your 21st birthday!
Hmmmm - that should open up some interesting dialog.
Love,
Big Mamma
Well if you can't find something interesting to post about Amsterdam, you must be dead! :O)
So, tell us about what happened on your 21st then Sal...
x
Sal- We stil love you and understand...NOT!!
Now tell us about that birthday. Hey, I'm retired (temporaraly), I have time!! NOT. Gotta pack some more!
But...but...but...I didn't inhale.
Sal
TemporarAly?? Shesh!... Why do I always discover my typos after they're up??
Have fun in A'dam ;-)
On my 21st birthday, I...
...danced with a a wire frame horsehead on my head.
...opened a bottle of Heineken by breaking it on the corner of a brick apartment building and then proceeded to drink from the bottle (broken glass and all).
...tore down a "toll" gate at the entrance to the parking lot at Dave's Italian Kitchen in Evanston, IL.
What did you do on your 21st birthday?
Amsterdam ... I see.
Hmmm, there's no raised eyebrow option ... Dutch keyboards, mutter mutter.
Okay, old friends are different and you only have the weekend but ...so close!
Glad you're back, was getting a bit silent over here, was thinking I would have to come back with a dustcloth one day soon.
Never mind, you were only young. I'm sure you can inhale this time!
Nice one Big Finn! :O)
Yadda-Yoda-Yaaaaah!!!
What the hell is that?
Will you be window shopping in Amsterdam or just hanging around in cafés?
There better be live blogging from the Netherlands!
Sadly, I cannot for the life of me remember what I did on my 21 birthday. Not because I had that much fun, just because I'm too old.
I didn't get totally wasted on my 21st birthday, but I did drink a flaming shot, purchased for me by a random Puerto Rican guy. Ah, youth (well, it was just three years ago).
Seriously, Sal, you know how I hate people who can't keep up their blogs! ;) Have fun in Amsterdam!
